Maciej Szczyciński - bass guitar, acustic bass




Born in 1981. Acoustic and electric bassist. Currently a student of Katowice Conserwatory's Jazz Department. He played with many Polish jazz greats including Zbigniew Namysłowski, Michael Urbaniak, or Andrzej Jagodziński. His other collaborations include Wojciech Staroniewicz Quartet, Bisquit, Marcin Olak Trio, Mika Urbaniak, Jacek Namysłowski Quartet, or The Hilliard Ensemble. Apart from jazz he performes with latin jazz singer Marita Alban Juarez, with flamenco group Los Payos, with an all-around band Kameleon, salsa orchestra Mili Morena y su Clave, rock group Des Moines and with his parents in a project called Mikroklimat, and of course in Noche de boleros.
