CHILLI includes texts and melodies found at the bottom of Latin chest, which are complemented by the band's own compositions. The pulsating and nostalgic tradition is perfectly balanced by modern - often avant-garde approach to arrangements, rhythm and harmony.

ALBUM "CHILLI"

On our album we take listener on a trip to Cuba, Mexico, Brazil and Spain. Sometimes is the year   1920 sometimes  2007.

Our trend of crafting sultry scenes of afternoon delight via tunes that both adhere to traditions and sound ultra-modern. We mixes things up a bit in the process. Magda Navarrete sensual delivery--featured here in Spanish and in Portuguese--hovers in and around each song. Make no mistake, though: Magda's vocal work is a thing of beauty. Noche de Boleros blends bolero, bossa nova, samba, pop and jazz, but no one genre overpowers any other. Lilting guitars give way to pulsing percussion, saxophone, double bass which crash against loops and samples.

The songs on the cd all have different "flavours", down-to mid-tempo, light jazz and some hints of bossa and samba all which are perfect for lounging during the day or after dark.

We also have a polish surprise on the album, we took a hit song from 1920 "Ostatnia Niedziela", who was then sung by Mieczysław Fogg, music by Andrzej Petersburski and sung it in Spanish. Our arrangement of this song is more avant-garde.
